Make.org is looking for a civic tech enthusiast and junior project manager who can help us revolutionise participatory democracy and democracy and to support our organisation in Germany.
At a time when trust in elected representatives and institutions of democracy are dwindling and our society is becoming more and more divided, Make.org was founded in 2016 with the aim of to (re)inspire citizens for democracy (again). We are convinced that we can accompany them in all their diversity and give them the right tools, so that they can be heard. Only in this way can we give our democracies a new impetus and strengthen the desire for political participation. After a successful beginning in France 7 years ago and more than 100 diverse online citizen participation projects we have started to grow our organisation internationally with offices in both Brussels and Berlin.
We are looking for reinforcement for our growing German team. Our adventure in Germany is off to a good start with 8 projects already successfully completed. Now we would like to build on this great experience and all actors - citizens, public administration, foundations, NGOs, companies and the media - for a positive transformation of society. You want to shape important social debates, actively contribute to the further development of our democracy and to participate in projects from A to Z implement? Become part of our diverse, enthusiastic and well-coordinated team!
You are co-responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of digital citizen participation projects in coworking with our Senior Project Leader. Alongside the team, you help grow our network of public administration, foundations, NGOs, companies and media and contribute to the development of our organisation in Germany.
