Paris Good Fashion launched in 2020 its first major public consultation: “How can we act together for a more responsible fashion industry?”
This unprecedented mobilization gathered over 100,000 participants, generated 3,319 proposals, and 467,733 votes.
Six years later, the desire to go even further has become urgent.
The fashion sector is in constant motion—and even more so in recent years—driven by the need to reinvent itself to better meet consumers’ expectations.
With the rise of new technologies, consumers are no longer just clients: they have become key players, deeply aware of the impact of their choices on the fashion ecosystem.
This growing commitment to more responsible ways of consuming is pushing brands and all stakeholders in the ecosystem to offer more ethical and sustainable solutions.
It is in this context that, in 2026, Paris Good Fashion created a new collective of actors alongside Make.org, Etam Groupe, Galeries Lafayette, Groupe Eram, Karla Otto, Kiabi, Lacoste, Le Bon Marché, LVMH, and SMCP to launch a second public consultation in France—and, for the first time, internationally in Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The central question of the consultation: “How can we inspire people to dress ethically and sustainably?”
The goal is to collectively identify concrete ways to profoundly transform fashion—without giving up the pleasure of dressing in a way that is more responsible, respectful, yet always desirable, creative, and accessible.
A fashion that inspires. A fashion that reflects who we are. A fashion of our time.
This consultation is an open space for everyone’s expression—whether you are passionate or simply concerned. It is from the diversity of voices that the most relevant and effective solutions will emerge.
Propose. Vote. Act.
Let’s build together the fashion of tomorrow!
Note: The 2020 public consultation gathered over 100,000 participants, generated 3,319 proposals, and 467,733 votes. This unprecedented mobilization led to tangible progress: expansion of second-hand initiatives, support for eco-design, reuse and recycling of hangers and polybags, development of reusable parcels, and greater attention to natural raw materials, among many others.
