1 in 2 people will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. With this consultation, we would like to explore all the ways that could improve the quality of life of people affected by cancer. This includes people currently going through a cancer journey, those in remission and the people supporting them including friends, family and carers. It can cover all aspects that impact quality of life, for example (and not limited to) relationships, nutrition, sleep, skincare etc.

For over a decade, La Roche-Posay have worked closely with dermatologists committed to improving the lives of people with cancer who are experiencing the changes the disease can cause to skin. Eight of La Roche Posay products have been tested on and are suitable for patients undergoing cancer treatment: by soothing and moisturising their sensitive skin. You just need to look out for the blue-ribbon logo on the back of the product.

Macmillan Cancer Support does whatever it takes to support people living with cancer in the UK. Macmillan raises money to provide vital cancer services, research, and campaign for better cancer care, as well as supporting the cancer workforce. Working in partnership, La Roche-Posay and Macmillan aim to provide information on the side effects of cancer treatment on skin, and ways to alleviate these.

With the results from this consultation, you will be giving La Roche-Posay and Macmillan an outlook on any themes that come through more often than not, as well as themes that may not have been realised before. Any suggestions help us to shape our mindsets and future plan.

MOBILISATION ON GENERAL INTEREST :

Make.org's approach based on consensus

We are convinced that societal changes can only come from common ideas. This is why Make.org's approach always consists in looking for the common ground upon which collective engagement can be built. Our society is becoming more and more fragmented, we believe that involving citizens in those shared ideas is the best way to reconcile society and handle our disagreements.
